The vines are grown on gentle hill slopes and clayey soils. After harvesting after the second or third week of October, the wine is de-stemmed and fermented to face a one-year barrel aging of which the final four months in bottle. Intense ruby red with violet reflections, it opens on the nose with full and fruity hints of black cherry, accompanied by a slight spiciness. On the palate red fruits and a light toasting for a wine of great freshness, with a non-aggressive tannin that guarantees a soft and long-lasting sip.
